ILMF 2008 - Conference Program

The Conference Technical Committee were overwhelmed with abstracts following the call for papers. They selected a relevant, informative and exciting program of papers and work-in progress reports on all aspects of airborne and bathymetry LiDAR with a particular emphasis on papers that addressed the key commercial and technical issues facing the industry.

The conference topics included:

Data acquisition by laser scanning technologies Integration of LIDAR sensors with complementary technologies and peripherals Data processing technologies, feature extraction, visualization, viewing and imaging software and techniques Innovative project examples of uses of LIDAR mapping technology, applications and services Developments in GIS and other data models relative to LIDAR operations Trends in technology, development and research.
