Those that attended these workshops found out what LiDAR is, how it works, what the applications are, the cost benefits and how it compares with other mapping technologies. They dipped in and out of the sessions – that were so popular in some cases there was standing room only - then followed up with exhibiting companies at their booths and within two short days – they were able to speak intelligently regarding the overall assessment and management process for LiDAR projects.
