The Conference Technical Committee is seeking papers and work-in-progress reports on all aspects of airborne and bathymetry LIDAR and mobile mapping with a particular emphasis on papers that address the key commercial and technical issues facing the industry.
The deadline for the Call for Papers is October 22, 2009 with the final conference program scheduled to be in place by November 23, 2009.

The topics of interest include:
(but are not limited to)
- Data acquisition – LiDAR and associated equipments
- Systems integration – LiDAR sensors and complementary technologies and peripherals
- Mobile mapping and survey
- Data fusion & processing technologies – feature extraction, enhancement, visualization, viewing and imaging techniques and software
- Recent project examples – reporting on innovative or improve techniques and applications; challenges, successes and problems encountered; including military LiDAR mapping projects
- Developments in GIS and data modelling and management
- Trends in market and technology development
- Industry issues - Federal/State initiatives and operational challenges; best practices; recruitment and training issues
All papers will be reviewed by the ILMF Technical Committee. In the first instance, authors are requested to submit an abstrat of no more than 250 words. The deadline for submission is October 22, 2009.
