The Fusion of Remotely Sensed Data on the Cloud, and Leveraging the Fused Data for AI and ML Analytics
Visual and remotely sensed data comes in several formats, and sizes. LiDAR, drone and traditional Aerial Photogrammetry Data, Point Clouds, Orthomosaics, Digital Elevation Models, Reflectance Maps, and other geospatial data can be several gigabytes in size, making the files difficult to work with. Furthermore, the fusion of the data presents even more of a challenge, adding in several software packages, and increasing the size of the data products. This talk will cover the combination of 2D and 3D georeferenced data from different sources: RGB & Multispectral Electro Optical sensors, LiDAR, processed Photogrammetry data products, and more, using Intel Insight Platform. The platform is designed to ingest georectified data, and provide the framework for sharing data, without having to send gigabytes of data. Once the data is on the platform and combined, AI and Machine Learning analytics can be run on the fused data. This provides for a much more in-depth analysis of the combined data, versus examining it in a piecemeal fashion.
