Barry Miller is an elevation applied researcher in the USGS National Geospatial Technical Operations Center. Previously he worked as a geospatial analyst and instructor for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. He holds two Master of Science degrees in GIS from Penn State University and Engineering Management from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from West Point. He has been recognized with military honors for his forward deployed geospatial support to operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Japan, and Liberia. Barry lives in Colorado with his wife and two sons.
