Biography

Mark Lesak is a graduate student in the Mechanical Engineering and Robotics Department at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado. His research focus is autonomous navigation in GPS-denied environments, with an emphasis on calculating real-time odometry from LiDAR scans. He obtained his BS in 2009 from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York and continues to serve active duty as a Captain in the United States Army. He will report to the Army Cyber Institute at West Point after completing his research at Mines.
