Mr. Randy Rhoads has twenty five plus years of demonstrated leadership – building and maintaining effective, high-performance, multi-functional teams even in remote and inhospitable environments. Randy took delivery of the first commercial LiDAR sensor to be utilized by an engineering firm in the world – and helped to develop the commercial LiDAR surveying market applying the technology to various markets. Randy has been applying LiDAR and other remote sensing technologies to solve geospatial challenges over the past 21 years. He has surveyed more than 250,000 square miles, spanning over 500 projects, in 48 US states, 35 countries, and 5 continents using LiDAR technology and other phenomenologies of remote sensing sensors. Randy is a Professionally Licensed Engineer. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1992. He served as an officer in the United States Air Force. He is an active member of the ASCE, GITA and ASPRS. He served as the ASPRS LiDAR Committee Chairman from 2008-2011 .
